NY/4:5

A série NY/4:5 traz fotografias da Grande Maçã em formato 4:5. Para os que não conhecem termos técnicos da fotografia ou simplesmente nunca usaram uma camera analógica que não fosse uma 35mm explico, o formato 4:5 (ou 4×5 polegadas, além do 8×10 ou 6×7) é comumente usado nos equipamentos de médio e grande formatos. Cameras grandes e pesadas que foram muito utilizadas (ainda são em algumas áreas como publicidade, paisagem e projetos pessoais) e fazem parte da história da fotografia. Felizmente tive oportunidade de usar algumas (poucas) cameras como estas. Fica aqui a homenagem e lembrança em formato de imagens registradas digitalmente.

The NY / 4:5 series brings pictures of the Big Apple in 4:5 format. For those who don’t know the technical terms of photography or just never used an analog camera I will explain; the 4:5 format (4×5 inches, 8×10 or 6×7) is commonly used in medium and large format equipment. Those big and heavy cameras that were heavily used (although in some areas as advertising, landscape, and personal projects, they continue to be used) and are part of the history of photography. Fortunately I had the luck to use some of these cameras. This is a tribute and remembrance in the form of digitally recorded images.
